1. Where is your store located?

Our shop is located at 70 Road 9 in Maadi, first floor (above La Poire, same level as the music store. This location is new as of December 2021 and is just across the street from our old location:-)

We are an easy walking distance from El Maadi metro station (exit on Road 9 and take a right unto Road 9 and walk for a bit. We are in the building rigth after Costa Coffee and Pizza Hut)

2. I have used books I want to sell, what do I do?

Bring them to our shop anytime during opening hours.

3. When is your store open? 

The store is currently open from 10am to 9pm every day (as of June 2024)

The store may close during Friday prayer.

4. How can I order online? Do I need a credit card?

Ordering online is simple. You simply register on the website and then browse for the books that you like, put them in your cart, and follow the checkout instructions.

You do not need a credit card. You simply pay cash when you receive your order. If you prefer to prepay you can contact us to arrange payment through Instapay or Vodafone Cash.

Once an order is placed you should receive a confirmation email.

5. I am looking for a particular book, but can't find it on your website. Can I order it from you? 

Yes, we do special orders on books not found on our website. Use the contact us form on the website to submit a special order.

Send us the title and author of the book you want and any other important information and we will look for the book among our suppliers both in Egypt and abroad and get back to you with information on availability, price, and delivery time.

6. Do you have Arabic books at your store?

Our main focus is English books, but we do have a very small selection of Arabic books for children and used Arabic books.

7. What is your return policy?

Used books can not be returned or exchanged, but you can bring them in for store credit according to our buying policy for used books.

New books can be exchanged for another book or gift certificate within 2 days with receipt. No cash refunds. The book must be in new condition. We reserve the right to reject returns if the book condition is no longer new.

There are no returns or exchanges on sale items or special orders.

8. How much is the delivery/shipping charge?

9. Do you deliver outside Cairo

Yes, we deliver all over Egypt. Shipping costs start at LE 60 for Alexandria and other cities near Cairo.
